Question


Under Device -> Config Audit, When auditing changes between two versions why do I see a config Committed by user named "Description" ?

Environment


Any Hardware or Software firewall running version 8.0.x and above

Answer


These changes are committed due to HA config Sync when a change is made on a peer device and config sync is enabled in the HA settings. Hence you see the commit by user "Description"
