How to remove a Marketplace PAYG VM from Customer Support Portal ?

Answer


1. First, terminate the usage-based VM instance on the AWS / Azure / GCP console.
2. Secondly, create a support case with Palo Alto Networks (admin) to remove the serial number of the deleted instance from the Customer Support Portal (CSP).   

If you request Palo Alto Networks to delete a VM instance from CSP Asset list which has not been terminated with the cloud provider first, you will continue to be billed for it.
