Details

When a DNS suffix is configured under Network > GlobalProtect > Gateways (click Add and click Client Configuration in Network Settings) this DNS suffix is not listed under the GlobalProtect network adapter.

 

In the following example, test.com DNS suffix is configured:

After the GlobalProtect connection, shown below is the output of the “ipconfig /all” from windows CMD:

The “test.com” DNS suffix is populated under “DNS suffix search list” but not directly under adapter.

 

Cause

This is expected behavior as the DNS suffix is just a linear list of suffixes to search, and is not adapter dependent.
