How to Filter URLs During Certain Date and Time

Overview

Certain environments may require that URL filtering is active only during certain time periods, for example work hours or weekends.

Resolution

This can be achieved by using the following process:

1. Create a rule with a URL filtering profile that will be disabled when the URL filtering should not be applied, for more details on this configuration see the following link: How to Schedule Policy Actions
   
2. Create the second rule that is the same as the first rule, but without any URL filtering profile or schedule.
