Allow or Deny Websites that Reference Multiple Domain Names in HTML
Resolution
Issue
Some websites may reference other domain names in its HTML source code. For example, Facebook uses facebook.com, akamaihd.net and fbcdn.net, and Linkedin uses linkedin.com and licdn.com. If all domains referenced by the website are not allowed, the pages on the site will not load properly as only part of the contents would be permitted by the firewall.
Resolution
To place such a website in the allow or block list inside a URL profile, first access the website normally through a web browser, then right click and choose "view source". Search the contents for "href" and observe which domain names the website is referencing. From the list compiled, use the "*.domain.com" format to add each found domain to the allow or block list inside he URL profile.
For example:
*.facebook.com
*.fbcdn.net
*.akamaihd.net
*.linkedin.com
*.licdn.com
