Environment

PAN-OS 7.1 and above

Resolution

Yes. Post PAN-OS version 7.1, syslog messages can be encrypted using ssl as transport mode.

Additional Information

On PAN-OS versions prior to 7.1, the only way to encrypt syslog messages is to setup a service route for syslog and point to a tunnel interface. This would force syslog packets to be encrypted when sent through the tunnel.
