Steps

There are three ways to collect HA3 MAC information from a Palo Alto Networks device.

Option 1

From the CLI, run the command:

> debug dataplane internal pdt tiger igr ha3 dump

VDID MASK: 0x1

HA3 Destination MAC: 0:1b:17:d0:f0:30

HA3 Source MAC: 0:1b:17:d0:ec:30

HA3 Ethertype: 0x7261

Note: The source and destination MAC address need to be switched.  The actual source is 00:1b:17:d0:f0:30 and the destination is 00:1b:17:d0:ec:30.

Option 2

From the CLI, run the command:

> debug dataplane internal pdt tiger egr nexthop dump type DIRECT

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                              DIRECT Nexthop Table

Index Source            Destination       VlanO VlanI R P H  MTU Port Slot

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1 0:1b:17:d0:f0:30  0:1b:17:d0:ec:30              F F T 1500   56    0

Here the source and destination MAC are correct.

Option 3

From the CLI, run the command:

> show high-availability all
