HTTP Redirects Not Appearing in Traffic Logs

Issue

When accessing a URL that performs an HTTP redirect to another site, or redirects to a file for download, the original request is logged but not the redirected URL

Resolution

In the URL Filtering Profile, disable the option to log only the container page.

This will increase the amount of logs generated and will include all URLs accessed during the session (including redirects).
