Resolution


Issue

There were multiple static routes in the virtual router (VR) to the same destination and no metric was specified. The default metric for static routes is 10.

Resolution

Delete the route through configure mode of the CLI, then add it back in with the proper metric.

On the CLI:

# delete network virtual-router <VR name> routing-table ip static-route <static route name>

# set network virtual-router default routing-table ip static-route <static route name> interface <interface value> destination <ip/netmask> metric <value> nexthop ip-address <ip>

On the WebUI:

Go to Network > Virtual Routers. Select the appropriate VR. Go to the IPv4 tab within Static Routes:
