GlobalProtect Registry Key: Windows 7 Professional 64bit

Issue

The registration key of the GlobalProtect client is not installed properly. The Registration Key appears in the regedit of Windows, but not in the client itself (Host State > custom-checks > registry-key). The Client is installed on Windows 7 Professional 64bit. This problem does not occur on Windows 7 Professional 32bit.

Resolution

GlobalProtect Agent 1.0.x and 1.1.x is a 32bit client so it will check for registry entries in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion instead of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion.
