Symptom
Which takes precedence in Panorama, shared or non-shared objects?

Resolution
Shared and non-shared objects (device group specific) can be created in Panorama. The device will take the most specific object from Panorama. If there are shared and non-shared objects with the same name, only the non-shared (device-specific) objects will be pushed to the device.
Note:
This can be changed with setting:
Panorama > Setup > Management > Panorama Settings- 'Objects defined in ancestors will take higher precedence'
The “Objects defined in ancestors will take higher precedence” option is disabled by default
