Issue

What password should be used for logging into the maintenance mode when receiving the following error:

"The system is in maintenance mode. Connect via serial console or with user 'maint' through ssh to access the recovery tool"

Resolution

Use 'maint' as the username and the "serial number of that device" as a password. Using this login combination should eliminate the error message as shown above. It will also give access to the maintenance mode.
