Symptoms

The following error is returned when saving user attribution configuration: "Error contacting AWS (CODE: 500)"

Diagnosis

None

Resolution


  1. This is caused by an intermittent connection issue with AWS.  Try submitting the User Attribution configuration again.
  2. The confirmation URL sent back from subscribing to the SNS Topic is invalid.  Redo steps 3 and 4 from the User Attribution configuration and try submitting again.
