How to Export Backups of Managed Device Configuration Files from Panorama

Overview

This document describes how to export backups of managed device configuration files from Panorama.

Steps

1. Go to Panorama > Setup > Operations and click "Export Panorama and devices config bundle".
   
2. Save the compressed file to local disk and decompress to access all the current device configuration files.
   
   Note: The downloaded filenames appear in different areas depending on the web browser brand and version. The above screenshot shows the saved file on the lower bottom-left as "Panorama_20131025.tgz".

The following screenshot shows an example of a downloaded file (Panorama_20131025.tgz) decompressed with 7zip to display individual Palo Alto Networks device configuration files:
