Is the Firewall Automatically Aware of License Renewals?

Overview

The Palo Alto Networks device will automatically check for renewed licenses every day. If a renewal is detected, then the device will retrieve and install the updated license. Manual retrievals can also be done by navigating to the Device > License section on the web UI.

Note: For the support license, there is no action required. Navigating to the Device > Support page on the web UI will make the device check for the support license each time, and the Palo Alto Networks device will acknowledge the renewed support license automatically.
