How to Redistribute Connected Interfaces (Routes) Not Participating in OSPF

Overview

This document describes how to distribute routes to connected interfaces when only one interface is participating in the OSPF network.

Steps

1. Go to Network > Virtual Routers and select the VR:
   
2. Enter router ID and Enable OSPF:
   
3. Click Add and mention area ID. Then select the Interface tab under the area.
   
4. Select Redistribution Profiles and Add new profile:
   
5. Type Profile name and Priority. Then enable Redist and Connect as shown below. Also, select the Interface to be advertised (not the Interface where OSPF has been enabled).
   
6. Go to OSPF > Export Rules and click Add, select the profile from the “Name” drop down menu, as shown below:
   
7. Click OK to commit.
