Issue

Importing a custom response page (for example, a URL block page or application block page) appears to succeed with no problems on the Palo Alto Networks firewall. However, the end client is served a default response page instead of the custom page.

Resolution

The issue may be due to importing the response page in a non-HTML format (such as, .txt format). In this case, the import will be successful, but the custom page would not be served by the Palo Alto Networks firewall. Make sure that the customer page is completely in HTML format prior to importing into the Palo Alto Networks firewall.
