How to Manually Install Antivirus, Content, and WildFire Updates on the Firewall

Overview

This document describes the steps to manually install the antivirus, content, and WildFire updates on the Palo Alto Networks firewall.

1. Log into the Palo Alto Networks Customer Support Portal
2. Download the update files by navigating to Updates > Dynamic Updates

Steps

1. From the WebGUI, go to Device > Dynamic Updates
2. At the bottom of the page, click Upload
   
3. Select Package Type for the upload: Application and Threats, Antivirus, or WildFire. Browse and select the appropriate file and click OK
   
4. At the bottom of the page, click Install From File
   
   
5. Select the appropriate package type for installation
   
6. Select the uploaded file from Step 4 above
