What does the "client configuration released" system log indicate?
Environment
- PAN-OS 8.0+
- GlobalProtect Deployed
- Endpoint with approved OS
Answer
The "client configuration released" system log is generated for either 2 reasons:
- The GlobalProtect endpoint disconnects from the Gateway
- The GlobalProtect endpoint connects to a Gateway that has a new configuration available
Note: Snapshot displaying the system log via the GUI Monitor > Logs > System
Note: system.log output displaying the log entry
